Announcement: 10th Living Knowledge Conference – 26-28 June 2024

05/11/2023

The 10th Living Knowledge Conference will be held at the University of Girona, Spain, from June 26th to 28th, 2024.

The Living Knowledge Conference aims to bring together all those involved in doing or supporting research with and for communities and especially those newer to the field. Over the years, a myriad of approaches have been developed to do collaborative research with and for communities. Different names, different (ideological) histories, and (sometimes slightly) different objectives may obscure what we all have in common: an urge to co-create and share new knowledge for an inclusive, equitable, healthy and sustainable society.

The Living Knowledge Conference invites submissions under the theme “Building and sustaining next generation engagement.” Researchers and practitioners in community-based research, citizen science, and related fields are encouraged to submit proposals. Topics include integrating engaged research into curricula, fostering genuine engagement, supporting young leaders, addressing barriers, advocating for engagement policies, maximizing impact, strategizing for future engagement, and aligning with Horizon Europe Missions and SDGs.
