Establishing an ethics committee in the funeral industry

Short description

Putting philosophy into practice is a challenge, but it remains important in teaching and research at our university to keep looking for concrete ways where philosophers can help answer societal needs.
From an invitation (Funeral director DELA) to reflect on well-defined legal-ethical questions, grew the idea to systematize a cooperation e.g. in the creation of an ethical committee around ‘The funeral of the Future’ and furthermore incorporate this in a new Study Center around health humanities.
